Theater Appreciation

This course serves as an introduction to the ancient art of theatre. The course presents art works as emergent from the history of human societies and seeks to achieve multicultural understandings that are relevant to our enjoyment of theatre today. The major areas of stagecraft are also explored as an aid to our appreciation of the fascinating and multi-faceted art of theatrical performance.
