Writing for the Thoughtful Reader — A Workshop on Transparent & Accessible Writing on Difficult Topics

with Allan Combs, Ph.D. (“Leslie”) Award-Winning Author AND Anne Kinne, Ph.D. experienced writing coach.

A 4 1/2 week experience in becoming an author, meeting online each week at a time of mutual convenience. Beginning with guidelines for good writing, the workshop will continue to include individual coaching by the instructors.

This will be a workshop on crossover writing for which the author takes a traditionally difficult topic and presents it in an engaging way for a broad readership. The instructors will lecture and take questions during the first two meetings, then in the following meetings discuss writing and give feedback on student writing. Student writing during the course will be encouraged and supplemented by instructor feedback.

If there is sufficient interest we will create a break-out section on academic writing, including dissertations and professional articles.
